Group Brainstorming can lead to 'Idea Fixation'

The much-trusted brainstorming exercises are not always the best route to generate unique ideas, says a study from Applied Cognitive Psychology.
Brainstorming sessions are what people, groups or organisations trust when they look for a fresh perspective on a project or need a solution to a problem. However, an upcoming study from Applied Cognitive Psychology suggests that this may not be the best resort.
